BIRDIE TIME! Kendrick Jr. drained his first birdie today. It was no. 8, par 3, 108 yards at The Challenge in Graham, NC. He teed off with his "fairway flyer" (basically a 7 wood). His drive rolled to about 5 feet. He had a slight uphill breaking left to right putt. It went down and we went crazy. Jim Reklis was there to witness the momentous moment. We celebrated with a Dairy Queen blizzard on the way home. :-) The Challenge is a fun course. Lots of interesting holes. We'll definitely be back. Great value for the money - similar to Mill Creek.
