Mucho Happening

It's been a good holiday season. I really enjoyed the time with Grace Church people at our services and parties. On Christmas day, we drove up to Blowing Rock and spent the week in the mountains. It was delightful. We hiked, bummed around Blowing Rock, went to a movie, played quadruple solitaire, read, and slept a lot.

One day Gabriela, my 5 year old daughter, asked me if I wanted to learn how to knit. I said, "sure." Well she taught me, and we made a scarf together. We gave it to Grammie when we finished it. Gabriela did most of it, but I definitely contributed. You know Kendrick has really slowed down when he's knitting. :-)
